How does the voting system work?
Once bands have downloaded the
application form they will have until Midnight, Sunday 18th April
to complete and return all applications. 16 bands will be shortlisted from these entries.
A voting system (text and web) by Salford City Radio will let the public decide who is through to the next round. The final 8 bands will be interviewed by Salford City Radio running up to the event.
The group with the least votes in the poll will be the first band to play and the group with the highest amount of votes will be the headliner. This gives a chance to bands with fewer votes to get working on their own marketing and promotion before the event.
Simple.
Votes from the poll will go towards to the final score. One point for every vote.
If we find evidence of multiple voting from one person, those points will be classed as negative points, so no cheating!
